Why Snart616.com? In January 2004, I was getting tired of going over my small bandwidth at Geocities, and decided buying a domain name was the answer. I came up with several names and read up on tips to get hits. With my husband's help, I decided on snart for the name of my current car. The 6/16 (June 16) stands for my wedding day. Aww, how sweet, I know. So now you know.

I started web designing in March 1999. It was a single page with a couple of links, couple of pictures, some music, and a survey that never went anywhere. I don't think it even made it online. I decided to get a Geocities account where I could upload my pages. I figured I needed some sort of theme, so since my love of lizards began at that time, I decided to name it The Lizard's Nest. I created many pages, mainly about me, and the ruthless hobby of web designing began. My bandwidth was being exceeded all of the time (mainly due to all of the images, not visitors). That's when snart616.com was established - January 2004. But even though it's changed names, domains, layouts, etc, it was still established some lonely day in March 1999.
